1/2 cup brown sugar
1 stick of butter
1 can of apples
2 cups of sliced and cut apples
1 pie crust
In a cast iron skillet melt the butter and then add the brown sugar, let carmalize together then add the can of apples and the fresh apples mix everything well together let cook for about 5 minutes. Remove skillet from the heat and take the pie crust and place over the top of it fold in the edges carefully and make slits all the way around. With a pastry brush add a then coat of water on top to seal it and sprinkle sugar all over the top. Place in a preheat oven at 350 and bake until crust is a nicely golden brown color.
